Banbury West End had two very successful matches this week. The first was a mens match in division 3 of the Oxfordshire league against Benson B. First pair Jeremy Turner and Paul Brown did well halving with the Benson 1st pair 6-2, 1-6 and beating the 2nd pair 7-6, 6-0. West End 2nd pair Doug Wade and Ray Armstrong had an excellent afternoon. They beat the Benson 1st pair 6-4, 6-1 and also beat the 2nd pair 7-5, 6-2. This is a really good 7-1 victory for West End men

The second match was a mixed match in division 1 of the Banbury league. Banbury West End wanted a convincing win in this match so were delighted with an 8-0 victory. The ladies, Alison Goult and Andi Padbury won their match 6-2, 6-2 whilst the men, Mike Robinson and Paul Brown won 6-3, 6-1. First mixed pair Mike Robinson and Alison Goult won 6-2, 6-2 whilst Paul Brown and Andi Padbury won 6-3, 6-4. An excellent result.
